Pirates Cove

Made our yearly trip to Pirates Cove Today. Went to Shannnons house to celebrate Maddies birthday afterwards.

Day Off

Boo had swim lessons today. This evening we BBQed some chicken, built a fire and watched the Rockies game.

Bike to Work Day

Today was national bike to work day so I decided to ride my 27 speed Jamis Ventura 21.4 miles from Castle Rock to Englewood to prove the doubters wrong. I made it 2/3 of the way and was thinking to myself how easy it was when I took my eyes off the road to double check a street sign. I hit a big pothole very hard and quickly my rear tire deflated. I called Kris to bring my pump while I walked a 1/2 hour to target to get a patch kit. I was able to fix the tire and get to work in the nick of time. Next time I will be prepared with a pump and supplies on the bike!
